2024-09-01fault-inject: improve build for CONFIG_FAULT_INJECTION=nJani Nikula
The fault-inject.h users across the kernel need to add a lot of #ifdef CONFIG_FAULT_INJECTION to cater for shortcomings in the header. Make fault-inject.h self-contained for CONFIG_FAULT_INJECTION=n, and add stubs for DECLARE_FAULT_ATTR(), setup_fault_attr(), should_fail_ex(), and should_fail() to allow removal of conditional compilation. 2023-11-24scsi: ufs: core: Make fault injection dynamically configurable per HBAAkinobu Mita
The UFS driver has two driver-specific fault injection mechanisms (trigger_eh and timeout). Each fault injection configuration can only be specified by a module parameter and cannot be reconfigured without reloading the driver. Also, each configuration is common to all HBAs. This change adds the following subdirectories for each UFS HBA when debugfs is enabled: /sys/kernel/debug/ufshcd/<HBA>/timeout_inject /sys/kernel/debug/ufshcd/<HBA>/trigger_eh_inject Each fault injection attribute can be dynamically set per HBA by a corresponding file in these directories. This is tested with QEMU UFS devices. 2023-05-31scsi: ufs: Replace all non-returning strlcpy() with strscpy()Azeem Shaikh
strlcpy() reads the entire source buffer first. This read may exceed the destination size limit. This is both inefficient and can lead to linear read overflows if a source string is not NUL-terminated [1]. In an effort to remove strlcpy() completely [2], replace strlcpy() here with strscpy(). No return values were used, so direct replacement is safe. 2022-05-19scsi: ufs: Split the drivers/scsi/ufs directoryBart Van Assche
Split the drivers/scsi/ufs directory into 'core' and 'host' directories under the drivers/ufs/ directory. Move shared header files into the include/ufs/ directory. This separation makes it clear which header files UFS drivers are allowed to include (include/ufs/*.h) and which header files UFS drivers are not allowed to include (drivers/ufs/core/*.h). Update the MAINTAINERS file. Add myself as a UFS reviewer.
