2025-01-18wifi: qtnfmac: use always-managed version of pcim_intx()Philipp Stanner
pci_intx() is a hybrid function which can sometimes be managed through devres. To remove this hybrid nature from pci_intx(), it is necessary to port users to either an always-managed or a never-managed version. qtnfmac enables its PCI device with pcim_enable_device(). Thus, it needs the always-managed version. Replace pci_intx() with pcim_intx(). 2024-04-24wifi: qtnfmac: Use netdev dummy allocator helperBreno Leitao
There is a new dummy netdev allocator, use it instead of alloc_netdev()/init_dummy_netdev combination. Using alloc_netdev() with init_dummy_netdev might cause some memory corruption at the driver removal side. 2024-03-21wifi: qtnfmac: allocate dummy net_device dynamicallyBreno Leitao
Embedding net_device into structures prohibits the usage of flexible arrays in the net_device structure. For more details, see the discussion at [1]. Un-embed the net_device from struct qtnf_bus by converting it into a pointer. Then use the leverage alloc_netdev() to allocate the net_device object at qtnf_pcie_probe(). The free of the device occurs at qtnf_pcie_remove(). 2020-11-12qtnfmac: switch to core handling of rx/tx byte/packet countersHeiner Kallweit
Use netdev->tstats instead of a member of qtnf_vif for storing a pointer to the per-cpu counters. This allows us to use core functionality for statistics handling. The driver sets netdev->needs_free_netdev, therefore freeing the per-cpu counters at the right point in time is a little bit tricky. Best option seems to be to use the ndo_init/ndo_uninit callbacks.
