2020-11-20net: ipa: populate clock and interconnect dataAlex Elder
Populate the core clock rate and interconnect average and peak bandwidth data for SDM845 and SC7180 in their configuration data files. At this point we still don't *use* this data. Note that SC7180 actually defines a new core clock rate (100 MHz instead of 75 MHz) and new interconnect bandwidth values. They will be activated in the next commit, which uses the configured values rather than the fixed constants. 2020-11-13net: ipa: fix source packet contexts limitAlex Elder
I have discovered that the maximum number of source packet contexts configured for SDM845 is incorrect. Fix this error. Signed-off-by: Alex Elder <elder@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Jakub Kicinski <kuba@kernel.org>
2020-10-30net: ipa: assign endpoint to a resource groupAlex Elder
The IPA hardware manages various resources (e.g. descriptors) internally to perform its functions. The resources are grouped, allowing different endpoints to use separate resource pools. This way one group of endpoints can be configured to operate unaffected by the resource use of endpoints in a different group. Endpoints should be assigned to a resource group, but we currently don't do that. Define a new resource_group field in the endpoint configuration data, and use it to assign the proper resource group to use for each AP endpoint. 2020-06-30net: ipa: no checksum offload for SDM845 LAN RXAlex Elder
The AP LAN RX endpoint should not have download checksum offload enabled. The receive handler does properly accommodate the trailer that's added by the hardware, but we ignore it. 2020-05-06net: ipa: remove endpoint delay mode featureAlex Elder
A "delay mode" feature was put in place to work around a problem that was observed during development of the upstream IPA driver. It used TX endpoint "delay mode" in order to prevent transmitting packets toward the modem before it was ready. A race condition that would explain the problem has long since been fixed, and we have concluded that the "delay mode" feature is no longer required. So get rid of it. 2020-05-04net: ipa: define SMEM memory region for IPAAlex Elder
Arrange to use an item from SMEM memory for IPA. SMEM item number 497 is designated to be used by the IPA. Specify the item ID and size of the region in platform configuration data. Allocate and get a pointer to this region from ipa_mem_init(). The memory must be mapped for access through an SMMU. Signed-off-by: Alex Elder <elder@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: David S. 2020-05-04net: ipa: define IMEM memory region for IPAAlex Elder
Define a region of IMEM memory available for use by IPA in the platform configuration data. Initialize it from ipa_mem_init(). The memory must be mapped for access through an SMMU. Signed-off-by: Alex Elder <elder@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2020-05-04net: ipa: redefine struct ipa_mem_dataAlex Elder
The ipa_mem_data structure type was never actually used. Instead, the IPA memory regions were defined using the ipa_mem structure. Redefine struct ipa_mem_data so it encapsulates the array of IPA-local memory region descriptors along with the count of entries in that array. Pass just an ipa_mem structure pointer to ipa_mem_init(). Rename the ipa_mem_data[] array ipa_mem_local_data[] to emphasize that the memory regions it defines are IPA-local memory. 2020-03-08soc: qcom: ipa: configuration dataAlex Elder
This patch defines configuration data that is used to specify some of the details of IPA hardware supported by the driver. It is built as Device Tree match data, discovered at boot time. The driver supports the Qualcomm SDM845 SoC. Data for the Qualcomm SC7180 is also defined here, but it is not yet completely supported.
