2024-11-05sfc: Remove more unused functionsDr. David Alan Gilbert
efx_ticks_to_usecs(), efx_reconfigure_port(), efx_ptp_get_mode(), and efx_tx_get_copy_buffer_limited() are unused. They seem to be partially due to the later splits to Siena, but some seem unused for longer. Remove them. 2020-09-11sfc: select inner-csum-offload TX queues for skbs that need itEdward Cree
Won't actually be exercised until we start advertising the corresponding offload features. Signed-off-by: Edward Cree <ecree@solarflare.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2020-06-30sfc: remove duplicate declaration of efx_enqueue_skb_tso()Edward Cree
Define it in nic_common.h, even though the ef100 driver will have a different implementation backing it (actually a WARN_ON_ONCE as it should never get called by ef100. But it needs to still exist because common TX path code references it). Signed-off-by: Edward Cree <ecree@solarflare.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

2016-11-18sfc: Firmware-Assisted TSO version 2Bert Kenward
Add support for FATSOv2 to the driver. FATSOv2 offloads far more of the task of TCP segmentation to the firmware, such that we now just pass a single super-packet to the NIC. This means TSO has a great deal in common with a normal DMA transmit, apart from adding a couple of option descriptors. NIC-specific checks have been moved off the fast path and in to initialisation where possible. This also moves FATSOv1/SWTSO to a new file (tx_tso.c). The end of transmit and some error handling is now outside TSO, since it is common with other code. Signed-off-by: Edward Cree <ecree@solarflare.com> Signed-off-by: David S.
