2024-10-08net: sparx5: redefine internal ports and PGID's as offsetsDaniel Machon
Internal ports and PGID's are both defined relative to the number of front ports on Sparx5. This will not work on lan969x. Instead make them offsets to the number of front ports and add two helpers to retrieve them. Use the helpers throughout. 2024-10-08net: sparx5: use SPX5_CONST for constants which already have a symbolDaniel Machon
Now that we have indentified all the chip constants, update the use of them where a symbol is already defined for the constant. Reviewed-by: Steen Hegelund <Steen.Hegelund@microchip.com> Signed-off-by: Daniel Machon <daniel.machon@microchip.com> Signed-off-by: Paolo Abeni <pabeni@redhat.com>
2024-03-04net: sparx5: Fix use after free inside sparx5_del_mact_entryHoratiu Vultur
Based on the static analyzis of the code it looks like when an entry from the MAC table was removed, the entry was still used after being freed. More precise the vid of the mac_entry was used after calling devm_kfree on the mac_entry. The fix consists in first using the vid of the mac_entry to delete the entry from the HW and after that to free it. 2022-03-25net: sparx5: Refactor mdb handling according to feedbackCasper Andersson
- Remove mact_lookup and use new mact_find instead. - Make pgid_read_mask function. - Set PGID arbiter to start searching at PGID_BASE + 8. This is according to feedback on previous patch. https://lore.kernel.org/netdev/20220322081823.wqbx7vud4q7qtjuq@wse-c0155/T/#t Signed-off-by: Casper Andersson <casper.casan@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Steen Hegelund <Steen.Hegelund@microchip.com> Signed-off-by: Jakub Kicinski <kuba@kernel.org>
2022-03-21net: sparx5: Add mdb handlersCasper Andersson
Adds mdb handlers. Uses the PGID arbiter to find a free entry in the PGID table for the multicast group port mask. Signed-off-by: Casper Andersson <casper.casan@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2022-03-15net: sparx5: Use Switchdev fdb events for managing fdb entriesCasper Andersson
Changes the handling of fdb entries to use Switchdev events, instead of the previous "sync_bridge" and "sync_port" which only run when adding or removing VLANs on the bridge. 2021-08-10net: switchdev: zero-initialize struct switchdev_notifier_fdb_info emitted ↵Vladimir Oltean
by drivers towards the bridge The blamed commit added a new field to struct switchdev_notifier_fdb_info, but did not make sure that all call paths set it to something valid. For example, a switchdev driver may emit a SWITCHDEV_FDB_ADD_TO_BRIDGE notifier, and since the 'is_local' flag is not set, it contains junk from the stack, so the bridge might interpret those notifications as being for local FDB entries when that was not intended. To avoid that now and in the future, zero-initialize all switchdev_notifier_fdb_info structures created by drivers such that all newly added fields to not need to touch drivers again.
