2025-04-10leds: pwm-multicolor: Use fwnode_get_child_node_count()Andy Shevchenko
Since fwnode_get_child_node_count() was split from its device property counterpart, we may utilise it in the driver and drop custom implementation. 2025-02-27leds: pwm-multicolor: Add check for fwnode_property_read_u32Yuanjun Gong
Add a check to the return value of fwnode_property_read_u32() in case it fails. Signed-off-by: Yuanjun Gong <ruc_gongyuanjun@163.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20250223121459.2889484-1-ruc_gongyuanjun@163.com Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee@kernel.org>
2024-12-17leds: pwm-multicolor: Disable PWM when going to suspendJakob Riepler
This fixes suspend on platforms like stm32mp1xx, where the PWM consumer has to be disabled for the PWM to enter suspend. Another positive side effect is that active-low LEDs now properly turn off instead of going back to full brightness when they are set to 0. 2023-12-20pwm: Rename pwm_apply_state() to pwm_apply_might_sleep()Sean Young
In order to introduce a pwm api which can be used from atomic context, we will need two functions for applying pwm changes: int pwm_apply_might_sleep(struct pwm *, struct pwm_state *); int pwm_apply_atomic(struct pwm *, struct pwm_state *); This commit just deals with renaming pwm_apply_state(), a following commit will introduce the pwm_apply_atomic() function. 2023-04-20leds: pwm-multicolor: Simplify an error messageChristophe JAILLET
dev_err_probe() already display the error code. There is no need to duplicate it explicitly in the error message. While at it, add a missing \n at the end of the message. 2022-07-17leds: pwm-multicolor: Support active-low LEDsEmil Renner Berthing
Add support for LEDs wired up to light when the PWM output is low, just like the regular PWM LEDs. Signed-off-by: Emil Renner Berthing <emil.renner.berthing@canonical.com> Reviewed-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert+renesas@glider.be> Signed-off-by: Pavel Machek <pavel@ucw.cz>
2022-07-17leds: pwm-multicolor: Don't show -EPROBE_DEFER as errorsEmil Renner Berthing
When requesting a PWM it might return -EPROBE_DEFER if it hasn't probed yet. This is not an error, so just propagate the -EPROBE_DEFER without logging anything. There is already dev_err_probe for exactly this situation.
