runtime checks.
This new function allows us to perform debug checks in the helper to ensure
that the overrun does not occur. Use it in all the simple cases where
either a static buffer or a structure is used in the drivers.

Use `\t(\{ ?\},|\{\}|\{\s*/\*.*\*/\s*\},?)$` regex to find and replace
the array sentinel in all IIO drivers to the same style.
For some time, we've been trying to consistently use `{ }` (no trailing
comma, no comment, one space between braces) for array sentinels in the
IIO subsystem. Still nearly 50% of existing code uses a different style.
To save reviewers from having to request this trivial change as
frequently, let's normalize the style in all existing IIO drivers.
At least when code is copy/pasted to new drivers, the style will be
consistent.

Replace bitmap array access with bitmap_write.
Accessing the bitmap array directly is not recommended and now there is
a helper function that can be used.

Reduce verbosity by using gpiod_multi_set_value_cansleep() instead of
gpiod_set_array_value().
These are not called in an atomic context, so changing to the cansleep
variant is fine.

Use this new type to both slightly simplify the code and avoid
confusing static analysis tools. Mostly this series is about consistency
to avoid this code pattern getting copied into more drivers.

This adds support for the optional reset gpio to the ad2s1210 resolver
driver. If the gpio is present in the device tree, it is toggled during
driver probe before the reset of the device initialization. As per the
devicetree bindings, it is expected for the gpio to configured as active
low.

It is possible to use the AD2S1210 with hardwired mode pins (A0 and A1).
According to the devicetree bindings, in this case the adi,fixed-mode
property will specify which of the 3 possible modes the mode pins are
hardwired for and the gpio-modes property is not allowed.
This adds support for the case where the mode pins are hardwired for
config mode. In this configuration, the position and value must be read
from the config register.
The case of hardwired position or velocity mode is not supported as
there would be no way to configure the device.

is not really needed so let's remove it.
