2024-07-29iio: buffer: make use of iio_get_masklength()Nuno Sa
Use iio_get_masklength() to access '.masklength' so it can be annotated as __private when there are no more direct users of it. While at it, remove some unneeded line breaks. 2022-01-23iio: hw_consumer: Use struct_size() helper in kzalloc()Gustavo A. R. Silva
Make use of the struct_size() helper instead of an open-coded version, in order to avoid any potential type mistakes or integer overflows that, in the worst scenario, could lead to heap overflows. Also, address the following sparse warnings: drivers/iio/buffer/industrialio-hw-consumer.c:63:23: warning: using sizeof on a flexible structure when using CF='-Wflexible-array-sizeof' Link: https://github.com/KSPP/linux/issues/174 Signed-off-by: Gustavo A. 2021-05-17iio: hw_consumer: simplify devm_iio_hw_consumer_alloc()Yicong Yang
Use devm_add_action_or_reset() instead of devres_alloc() and devres_add(), which works the same. This will simplify the code. There is no functional changes. 2020-04-19iio: buffer: drop devm_iio_hw_consumer_free() API callAlexandru Ardelean
It's unused so far, so it can be removed. Also makes sense to remove it to discourage weird uses of this call during review. Signed-off-by: Alexandru Ardelean <alexandru.ardelean@analog.com> Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <Jonathan.Cameron@huawei.com>
2018-01-10IIO: hw_consumer: add devm_iio_hw_consumer_allocArnaud Pouliquen
Add devm_iio_hw_consumer_alloc function that calls iio_hw_consumer_free when the device is unbound from the bus. Signed-off-by: Arnaud Pouliquen <arnaud.pouliquen@st.com> Reviewed-by: Jonathan Cameron <Jonathan.Cameron@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
