2025-06-26iio: amplifiers: ada4250: use dev_err_probe()David Lechner
Use dev_err_probe() when returning an error in the probe function. 2025-06-26iio: amplifiers: ada4250: move offset_uv in structDavid Lechner
Move offset_uv in struct ada4250_state. This keeps things logically grouped and reduces holes in the struct. 2025-06-26iio: amplifiers: ada4250: use devm_regulator_get_enable_read_voltage()David Lechner
Use devm_regulator_get_enable_read_voltage() to simplify the code. Replace 1000000 with MICRO while we are touching this for better readability. 2025-06-26iio: amplifiers: ada4250: don't fail on bad chip IDDavid Lechner
Only print an information message instead of error message and failing to probe the device if the chip ID is not recognized. Experience shows that this can be fragile and some devices may not return the expected chip ID even though the driver is still able to work with them. 2025-06-26iio: amplifiers: ada4250: used dev local variableDavid Lechner
Replace local spi variable with dev in ada4250_init() since spi is not used directly. 2025-06-09iio: amplifiers: ada4250: use DMA-safe memory for regmap_bulk_read()David Lechner
Use DMA-safe memory instead of stack-allocated memory for the call to regmap_bulk_read() in the ada4250_init() function as this could be used directly by a SPI controller. Also remove unnecessary use of get_unaligned_le16() and explicitly include linux/types.h e.g. for __le16 while we are fixing this up. Note this is DMA issue does not appear to be an actual bug due to internals of the regmap SPI implementation. However, for IIO we are following guidance that we should not make that assumption. 2025-04-22iio: normalize array sentinel styleDavid Lechner
Use `\t(\{ ?\},|\{\}|\{\s*/\*.*\*/\s*\},?)$` regex to find and replace the array sentinel in all IIO drivers to the same style. For some time, we've been trying to consistently use `{ }` (no trailing comma, no comment, one space between braces) for array sentinels in the IIO subsystem. Still nearly 50% of existing code uses a different style. To save reviewers from having to request this trivial change as frequently, let's normalize the style in all existing IIO drivers. At least when code is copy/pasted to new drivers, the style will be consistent. 2024-10-02move asm/unaligned.h to linux/unaligned.hAl Viro
asm/unaligned.h is always an include of asm-generic/unaligned.h; might as well move that thing to linux/unaligned.h and include that - there's nothing arch-specific in that header. auto-generated by the following: for i in `git grep -l -w asm/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done for i in `git grep -l -w asm-generic/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm-generic\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done git mv include/asm-generic/unaligned.h include/linux/unaligned.h git mv tools/include/asm-generic/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h sed -i -e "/unaligned.h/d" include/asm-generic/Kbuild sed -i -e "s/__ASM_GENERIC/__LINUX/" include/linux/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h
2022-02-27iio: amplifiers: ada4250: add support for ADA4250Antoniu Miclaus
The ADA4250 is an instrumentation amplifier with SPI/pin-strap progammable gains that is optimized for ultra-low power systems. With a minimum supply voltage of 1.7V, 26uA of quiescent current, a shutdown mode, a sleep mode, and a fast wake up settling time, ADA4250 can be power cycled on a battery powered system for even futher savings.
