2025-06-26iio: adc: mt6360-adc: use = { } instead of memset()David Lechner
Use { } instead of memset() to zero-initialize stack memory to simplify the code. 2025-05-21iio: adc: mt6360-adc: use aligned_s64 for timestampDavid Lechner
Follow the pattern of other drivers and use aligned_s64 for the timestamp. This will ensure that the timestamp is correctly aligned on all architectures. It also ensures that the struct itself it also 8-byte aligned so we can drop the explicit __aligned(8) attribute. Linux 6.12-rc2 Resolved movement of asm/unaligned.h to linux/unaligned.h
2024-10-05iio: adc: mt6360-adc: Converted to use get_unaligned_be16()Abhash Jha
Changed the manual shifting and adding of bytes to use get_unaligned_be16() api instead. Signed-off-by: Abhash Jha <abhashkumarjha123@gmail.com> Link: https://patch.msgid.link/20240928161108.163647-1-abhashkumarjha123@gmail.com Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <Jonathan.Cameron@huawei.com>
2024-10-02move asm/unaligned.h to linux/unaligned.hAl Viro
asm/unaligned.h is always an include of asm-generic/unaligned.h; might as well move that thing to linux/unaligned.h and include that - there's nothing arch-specific in that header. auto-generated by the following: for i in `git grep -l -w asm/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done for i in `git grep -l -w asm-generic/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm-generic\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done git mv include/asm-generic/unaligned.h include/linux/unaligned.h git mv tools/include/asm-generic/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h sed -i -e "/unaligned.h/d" include/asm-generic/Kbuild sed -i -e "s/__ASM_GENERIC/__LINUX/" include/linux/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h
2024-09-05iio: adc: standardize on formatting for id match tablesJonathan Cameron
This is a frequent minor comment in reviews, so start cleaning up existing drivers in the hope we get fewer cases of cut and paste. There are not kernel wide rules for these, but for IIO the style that I prefer (and hence most common) is: - Space after { and before } - No comma after terminator { } This may cause merge conflicts but they should be trivial to resolve hence I have not broken this into per driver patches. 2024-08-03iio: adc: mt6360-adc: make use of iio_for_each_active_channel()Nuno Sa
Use iio_for_each_active_channel() to iterate over active channels accessing '.masklength' so it can be annotated as __private when there are no more direct users of it. 2022-08-15iio: adc: mt6360: Drop an incorrect __maybe_unused marking.Jonathan Cameron
Given the struct platform_driver has one of it's elements assigned to point to the of_device_id table, it is never going to be unused. Drop the marking.
