2025-05-07drm/i915/rps: refactor display rps supportJani Nikula
Make the gt rps code and display irq code interact via intel_display_rps.[ch], instead of direct access. Add no-op static inline stubs for xe instead of having a separate build unit doing nothing. All of this clarifies the interfaces between i915 core and display. 2024-06-06drm/i915/display: include gt/intel_gt_types.h where neededJani Nikula
Include what you use. We need to move the compat intel_gt_types.h under gt subdir. With this, we can drop the include from xe compat i915_drv.h. 2023-12-21drm/xe/display: Implement display supportMaarten Lankhorst
As for display, the intent is to share the display code with the i915 driver so that there is maximum reuse there. We do this by recompiling i915/display code twice. Now that i915 has been adapted to support the Xe build, we can add the xe/display support. This initial work is a collaboration of many people and unfortunately this squashed patch won't fully honor the proper credits.
