2023-07-06drm/nouveau/fb/gp102-ga100: switch to simpler vram size detection methodBen Skeggs
Also exposes this for use by upcoming GSP-RM initialisation code. v2: add SPDX header Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Lyude Paul <lyude@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Karol Herbst <kherbst@redhat.com> Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/20230525003106.3853741-3-skeggsb@gmail.com
2023-02-21drm/nouveau/fb/gp102-: cache scrubber binary on first loadBen Skeggs
During system shutdown nouveau might not be able to request firmware from Userspace, which then leads to a regression preventing the system from shutting down. Cache the scrubber binary for this case. 2022-11-09drm/nouveau/fb: handle sysmem flush page from common codeBen Skeggs

2022-11-09drm/nouveau/flcn: new code to load+boot simple HS FWs (VPR scrubber)Ben Skeggs
Adds the start of common interfaces to load and boot the HS binaries provided by NVIDIA that enable the usage of GR. ACR already handles most of this, but it's very much tied into ACR's init process, and there's other code that could benefit from reusing a lot of this stuff too (ie. VBIOS DEVINIT/PreOS, VPR scrubber). The VPR scrubber code is fairly independent, and a good first target. - adds better debug output to fw loading process, to ease bring-up/debug v2: - whitespace, 0->false Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Lyude Paul <lyude@redhat.com>

2020-01-29drm/nouveau/fb/gp102-: allow module to load even when scrubber binary is missingBen Skeggs
Without relaxing this requirement, TU10x boards will fail to load without an updated linux-firmware, and TU11x will completely fail to load because FW isn't available yet. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2020-01-15drm/nouveau/fb/gp102-: unlock VPR as part of FB initBen Skeggs
We perform memory allocations long before we hit the code in SECBOOT that would unlock the VPR, which could potentially result in memory allocation within the locked region. Run the scrubber binary right after VRAM init to ensure we don't. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2018-07-19drm/nouveau/fb/gp100-: disable address remapperBen Skeggs
This was causing problems on a system with a large amount of RAM, where display push buffers were being fetched incorrectly when placed in high system memory addresses. While this commit will resolve the issue on that particular system, the issue will be avoided completely with another patch to more fully solve problems with display and large amounts of system memory on Pascal. It's still probably a good idea to disable this to prevent weird issues in the future. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
