2025-05-22drm/amdgpu: fixing typo in macro nameJihed Chaibi
"ENABLE" is currently misspelled in SYS_INFO_GPUCAPS__ENABEL_DFS_BYPASS PS: checkpatch.pl is complaining about the presence of a space at the start of drivers/gpu/drm/amd/include/atomfirmware.h line: 1716 This is propably because this file uses (two) spaces and not tabs. 2022-11-23drm/amdgpu: Replace remaining 1-element array with flex-arrayPaulo Miguel Almeida
One-element arrays are deprecated, and we are replacing them with flexible array members instead. So, replace one-element array with flexible-array member in struct GOP_VBIOS_CONTENT and refactor the rest of the code accordingly. Important to mention is that doing a build before/after this patch results in no functional binary output differences. This helps with the ongoing efforts to tighten the FORTIFY_SOURCE routines on memcpy() and help us make progress towards globally enabling -fstrict-flex-arrays=3 [1]. One-element arrays are deprecated, and we are replacing them with flexible array members instead. So, replace one-element array with flexible-array member in structs _ATOM_CONNECTOR_DEVICE_TAG_RECORD, _ATOM_OBJECT_GPIO_CNTL_RECORD, _ATOM_BRACKET_LAYOUT_RECORD, _ATOM_BRACKET_LAYOUT_RECORD, _ATOM_LEAKAGE_VOLTAGE_OBJECT_V3, _ATOM_FUSION_SYSTEM_INFO_V3, _ATOM_I2C_DATA_RECORD, _ATOM_I2C_DEVICE_SETUP_INFO, _ATOM_ASIC_MVDD_INFO and refactor the rest of the code accordingly. While at it, removed a redundant casting. Important to mention is that doing a build before/after this patch results in no binary output differences. 2021-09-29gpu: amd: replace open-coded offsetof() with builtinArnd Bergmann
The two AMD drivers have their own custom offsetof() implementation that now triggers a warning with recent versions of clang: drivers/gpu/drm/radeon/radeon_atombios.c:133:14: error: performing pointer subtraction with a null pointer has undefined behavior [-Werror,-Wnull-pointer-subtraction] Change all the instances to use the normal offsetof() provided by the kernel that does not have this problem. 2017-02-27scripts/spelling.txt: add "aligment" pattern and fix typo instancesMasahiro Yamada
Fix typos and add the following to the scripts/spelling.txt: aligment||alignment I did not touch the "N_BYTE_ALIGMENT" macro in drivers/net/wireless/realtek/rtlwifi/wifi.h to avoid unpredictable impact. I fixed "_aligment_handler" in arch/openrisc/kernel/entry.S because it is surrounded by #if 0 ... #endif. It is surely safe and I confirmed "_alignment_handler" is correct. I also fixed the "controler" I found in the same hunk in arch/openrisc/kernel/head.S.
