2025-05-13drm/amd/display/dc/irq: Remove duplications of hpd_ack function from IRQSebastian Aguilera Novoa
The major of dcn and dce irqs share a copy-pasted collection of copy-pasted function, which is: hpd_ack. This patch removes the multiple copy-pasted by moving them to the irq_service.c and make the irq_service's calls the functions implemented by the irq_service.c instead. The hpd_ack function is replaced by hpd0_ack and hpd1_ack, the required constants are also added. The changes were not tested on actual hardware. I am only able to verify that the changes keep the code compileable and do my best to look repeatedly if I am not actually changing any code. 2024-02-22drm/amd/display: Drop unnecessary headerRodrigo Siqueira
A long time ago, the slab header was added to multiple files in DC. We also included it in the os_types.h, which is included in many of those DC files. At this point, there is no need to insert the slab.h header in multiple files, so this commit drops those includes. 2022-01-14drm/amd/display: Revert W/A for hard hangs on DCN20/DCN21Mario Limonciello
The WA from commit 2a50edbf10c8 ("drm/amd/display: Apply w/a for hard hang on HPD") and commit 1bd3bc745e7f ("drm/amd/display: Extend w/a for hard hang on HPD to dcn20") causes a regression in s0ix where the system will fail to resume properly on many laptops. Pull the workarounds out to avoid that s0ix regression in the common case. This HPD hang happens with an external device in special circumstances and a new W/A will need to be developed for this in the future. 2021-09-23drm/amd/display: Extend w/a for hard hang on HPD to dcn20Qingqing Zhuo
[Why] HPD disable and enable sequences are not mutually exclusive on Linux. For HPDs that spans under 1s (i.e. HPD low = 1s), part of the disable sequence (specifically, a request to SMU to lower refclk) could come right before the call to PHY enablement, causing DMUB to access an irresponsive PHY and thus a hard hang on the system. 2021-03-23drm/amd/display: Support vertical interrupt 0 for all dcn ASICWayne Lin
[Why] When CONFIG_DRM_AMD_SECURE_DISPLAY is enabled, it will try to register vertical interrupt 0 for specific task. Currently, only dcn10 have defined relevant info for vertical interrupt 0. If we enable CONFIG_DRM_AMD_SECURE_DISPLAY for other dcn ASIC, will get DC_IRQ_SOURCE_INVALID while calling dc_interrupt_to_irq_source() and cause pointer errors. 2019-08-15drm/amd/display: Register VUPDATE_NO_LOCK interrupts for DCN2Nicholas Kazlauskas
[Why] These are needed to send back DRM vblank events in the case where VRR is on. Without the interrupt enabled we're deferring the events into the vblank queue and userspace is left waiting forever to get back the events they need. Found using igt@kms_vrr - the test fails immediately due to vblank timeout. [How] Register them the same way we're handling it for DCN1. This fixes igt@kms_vrr for DCN2.
