The 'quirks' member already ran out of bits on some platforms some time
ago. Replace the integer member by a bitmap in order to have enough bits
in future. Replace raw bit operations by accessor macros.

Return value of devm_request_irq() must be checked (function is even
annotated) and without it clang W=1 complains:
btnxpuart.c:494:6: error: unused variable 'ret' [-Werror,-Wunused-variable]
Setting up wakeup IRQ handler is not really critical, because the
handler is empty, so just log the informational message so user could
submit proper bug report and silences the clang warning.

This implements host wakeup feature by reading the device tree property
wakeup-source and 'wakeup' interrupt, and nxp,wakeout-pin, and configuring
it as a FALLING EDGE triggered interrupt.
When host is suspended, a trigger from the WAKE_OUT pin of the
controller wakes it up.
To enable this feature, both device tree properties are needed to be
defined.

This prints an error message if the FW Dump trigger command fails. This
scenario is mainly observed in legacy chipsets 8987 and 8997 and also
IW416, where this feature is unavailable due to memory constraints.

This reverts the change baudrate logic in nxp_shutdown.
Earlier, when the driver was removed, it restored the controller
baudrate to fw_init_baudrate, so that on re-loading the driver, things
work fine.
However, if the driver was removed while hci0 interface is down, the
change baudrate vendor command could not be sent by the driver. When the
driver was re-loaded, host and controller baudrate would be mismatched
and hci initialization would fail. The only way to recover would be to
reboot the system.
This issue was fixed by moving the restore baudrate logic from
nxp_serdev_remove() to nxp_shutdown().
This fix however caused another issue with the command "hciconfig hci0
reset", which makes hci0 DOWN and UP immediately.
Running "bluetoothctl power off" and "bluetoothctl power on" in a tight
loop works fine.
To maintain support for "hciconfig reset" command, the above mentioned fix
is reverted.

This fixes a kernel panic seen during release FW in a stress test
scenario where WLAN and BT FW download occurs simultaneously, and due to
a HW bug, chip sends out only 1 bootloader signatures.
When driver receives the bootloader signature, it enters FW download
mode, but since no consequtive bootloader signatures seen, FW file is
not requested.
After 60 seconds, when FW download times out, release_firmware causes a
kernel panic.

This handles the scenario where the driver receives an error code after
sending cmd5 or cmd7 in the bootloader signature during FW download.
The bootloader error code is handled by the driver and FW offset is
corrected accordingly, and the cmd5 or cmd7 is re-sent to the controller
in case of CRC error.

Since we have a common handling for all error codes, there is no backward
compatibility issue.

This adds support for setting BD address during hci registration. NXP
FW does not allow vendor commands unless it receives a reset command
after FW download and initialization done.
As a workaround, the .set_bdaddr callback function will first send the
HCI reset command, followed by the actual vendor command to set BD
address.
The driver checks for the local-bd-address property in device tree, and
if preset, it sets the HCI_QUIRK_USE_BDADDR_PROPERTY quirk.
With this quirk set, the driver's set_bdaddr callback function is called
after FW download is complete and before HCI initialization, which sends
the hci reset and 3f 22 commands. During initialization, kernel reads
the newly set BD address from the controller.

This adds support for Bluetooth Coredump feature to BTNXPUART driver to
collect FW dumps on demand, or in case FW goes in a bad state.
To trigger manual FW dump, following command can be used:
echo 1 > /sys/class/bluetooth/hci0/device/coredump
Once FW dump is complete, it can be written to a file:
cat /sys/class/bluetooth/hci0/devcoredump/data > fw_dump
While FW dump is in progress, any HCI command will return -EBUSY.
After FW dump is complete, driver will give HCI_NXP_IND_RESET command
which soft-resets the chip, allowing FW re-download.

This moves change baudrate and power save vendor commands from
nxp_setup() to nxp_post_init().
This also moves the baudrate restore logic from nxp_serdev_remove() to
nxp_shutdown() which ensure baudrate is restored even when HCI dev is
down, preventing baudrate mismatch between host and controller when
device is probed again next time.
In case of removal when the hdev is up and running, we have to call the
shutdown procedure explicitly before unregistering the hdev.

When using the out-of-band WAKE_IN and WAKE_OUT pins, we have to tell
the firmware which pins to use (from controller point of view). This
allows to report remote wakeup support when WAKE_OUT(c2h) is configured.

This fixes a regression caused by previous commit for fixing truncated
ACL data, which is causing some intermittent glitches when running two
A2DP streams.
serdev_device_write_buf() is the root cause of the glitch, which is
reverted, and the TX work will continue to write until the queue is empty.
This change fixes both issues. No A2DP streaming glitches or truncated
ACL data issue observed.

This fixes the apparent controller hang issue seen during stress test
where the host sends a truncated payload, followed by HCI commands. The
controller treats these HCI commands as a part of previously truncated
payload, leading to command timeouts.
Adding a serdev_device_wait_until_sent() call after
serdev_device_write_buf() fixed the issue.

This adds support for driving the chip into sleep or wakeup with a GPIO.
If the device tree property device-wakeup-gpios is defined, the driver
utilizes this GPIO for controlling the chip's power save state, else it
uses the default UART-break method.

This updates all FW names by dropping the _v0 suffix.
Its been decided that all NXP BT/ WiFi FW names won't support _v0 suffix.
The suffix would be kept for next HW versions such as v1, v2 and so on,
which do not have backward compatible FW.
This change affects W8987, IW416 and IW615 chipsets, out of which new FW
files for W8987 and IW615 are yet to be released to broad market.
For IW416, old and new FW names are added to maintain backward
compatibility for existing customers.

This enables btnxpuart driver to handle ISO RX packet when DUT is
configured as audio sink.
Tested IW612 on iMX8MMini platform and BlueZ-5.77 as follows:
1) Configured DUT with bap_bcast_sink role in pipewire configuration file.
2) Started pipewire and DUT is able to sync with Broadcast source through
pipewire.
3) ISO data RX is seen in btmon.
4) Audio/Music is heard on audio jack.

This fixes the random kernel crash seen while removing the driver, when
running the load/unload test over multiple iterations.
1) modprobe btnxpuart
2) hciconfig hci0 reset
3) hciconfig (check hci0 interface up with valid BD address)
4) modprobe -r btnxpuart
Repeat steps 1 to 4
The ps_wakeup() call in btnxpuart_close() schedules the psdata->work(),
which gets scheduled after module is removed, causing a kernel crash.
This hidden issue got highlighted after enabling Power Save by default
in 4183a7be7700 (Bluetooth: btnxpuart: Enable Power Save feature on
startup)
The new ps_cleanup() deasserts UART break immediately while closing
serdev device, cancels any scheduled ps_work and destroys the ps_lock
mutex.

This adds handling for system suspend and resume. While the host enters
suspend state, the driver will drive the chip into low power state.
Similarly when system is resuming, the driver will wake up the chip.

This handles the timeout error codes sent by the chip as part of the
bootloader signatures during firmware download process.
When the bootloader does not receive a response packet from the host
within a specific time, it adds an error code to the bootloader
signature while requesting for the FW chunk from the same offset.
The host is expected to clear this error code with a NAK, and reply to
only those bootloader signatures which have error code 0.
However, the driver was ignoring this error code and replying with the
firmware chunks instead, which is apparently ignored by the chip and the
chip resends the same bootloader signature with the error code again. This
happens in a loop until the error code self clears and firmware download
proceeds ahead, adding a couple of milliseconds to the total firmware
download time.
Commit 689ca16e5232 was an initial implementation which simply printed
the following line during driver debug:
- FW Download received err 0x04 from chip
This commit adds the expected handling to the error codes.
This error handling is valid for data_req bootloader signatures for V3
and future bootloader versions.

This updates the firmware names of 3 chipsets: w8987, w8997, w9098.
These changes are been done to standardize chip specific firmware
file names to be in sync with firmware names of newer chipsets.
The naming convention for BT-only files would be as follows:
For dual-radio WiFi+BT chipsets:
- <protocol-BT><chip-name>_bt_v<HW-version>.bin
For tri-radio WiFi+BT+15.4 chipsets:
- <protocol-BT><protocol-15.4><chip-name>_bt_v<HW-version>.bin
To maintain backward compatibility, this commit adds a provision to
request older firmware file name, if new firmware file name not found in
/lib/firmware/nxp/.
A new device tree property has been introduced called firmware-name, to
override the hardcoded firmware names (old and new) in the driver.

When unload the btnxpuart driver, its associated timer will be deleted.
If the timer happens to be modified at this moment, it leads to the
kernel call this timer even after the driver unloaded, resulting in
kernel panic.
Use timer_shutdown_sync() instead of del_timer_sync() to prevent rearming.

This sets the default power save mode setting to enabled.
The power save feature is now stable and stress test issues, such as the
TX timeout error, have been resolved.

power save stress test")
With this setting, the driver will send the vendor command to FW at
startup, to enable power save feature.
User can disable this feature using the following vendor command:

This fixes the tx timeout issue seen while running a stress test on
btnxpuart for couple of hours, such that the interval between two HCI
commands coincide with the power save timeout value of 2 seconds.
Test procedure using bash script:

When the power save mechanism turns on UART break, and btnxpuart_tx_work()
is scheduled simultaneously, psdata->ps_state is read as PS_STATE_AWAKE,
which prevents the psdata->work from being scheduled, which is responsible
to turn OFF UART break.
This issue is fixed by adding a ps_lock mutex around UART break on/off as
well as around ps_state read/write.
btnxpuart_tx_wakeup() will now read updated ps_state value. If ps_state is
PS_STATE_SLEEP, it will first schedule psdata->work, and then it will
reschedule itself once UART break has been turned off and ps_state is
PS_STATE_AWAKE.
Tested above script for 50,000 iterations and TX timeout error was not
observed anymore.

receive_buf() is called from ttyport_receive_buf() that expects values
">= 0" from serdev_controller_receive_buf(), change its return type from
ssize_t to size_t.
The need for this clean-up was noticed while fixing a warning, see
commit 94d053942544 ("Bluetooth: btnxpuart: fix recv_buf() return value").
Changing the callback prototype to return an unsigned seems the best way
to document the API and ensure that is properly used.
GNSS drivers implementation of serdev receive_buf() callback return
directly the return value of gnss_insert_raw(). gnss_insert_raw()
returns a signed int, however this is not an issue since the value
returned is always positive, because of the kfifo_in() implementation.
gnss_insert_raw() could be changed to return also an unsigned, however
this is not implemented here as request by the GNSS maintainer Johan
Hovold.

Serdev recv_buf() callback is supposed to return the amount of bytes
consumed, therefore an int in between 0 and count.
Do not return a negative number in case of issue, just print an error
and return count. Before this change, in case of error, the returned
negative number was internally converted to 0 in ttyport_receive_buf,
now when the receive buffer is corrupted we return the size of the whole
received data (`count`). This should allow for better recovery in case
receiver/transmitter get out of sync if some data is lost.
This fixes a WARN in ttyport_receive_buf().

This improves the inband IR command handling for NXP BT chipsets.
When the IR vendor command is received, the driver injects a HW
error event, which causes a reset sequence in hci_error_reset().
The vendor IR command is sent to the controller while hci dev
is been closed, and FW is re-downloaded when nxp_setup() is
called during hci_dev_do_open().
The HCI_SETUP flag is set in nxp_hw_err() to make sure that
nxp_setup() is been called during hci_dev_do_open().
This also makes the nxp_setup() and power save functions more
generic.

This adds support for NXP IW624 chipset in btnxpuart driver
by adding FW name and bootloader signature. Based on the
loader version bits 7:6 of the bootloader signature, the
driver can choose between selecting secure and non-secure
FW files.
For cmd5 payload during FW download, this chip has addresses
of few registers offset by 1, so added boot_reg_offset to
handle the chip specific offset.

This removes the unnecessary check for CTS low after FW download.
After FW download is complete, the CTS line is already seen low.
It becomes high after 2 msec, and low again after FW initialization
is complete.
This makes the current check for CTS low redundant.
This removes the wait for CTS low section and increase delay to
1200msec instead, which is sufficiant for all NXP chipsets to
initialize FW.

deciding whether FW download is needed or not. In case of V1 bootloader
chips w8987 and w8997, it is observed that if WLAN FW is downloaded first
and power save is enabled in wlan core, bootloader signatures are not
emitted by the BT core when the chip is put to sleep. As a result, the
driver skips FW download and subsequent HCI commands get timeout errors
in dmesg as shown below:

By enabling the flow control, the host enables its RTS pin, and an
interrupt in chip's UART peripheral causes the bootloader to wake up,
enabling the bootloader signatures, which then helps in downloading
the bluetooth FW file.
This changes all instances of 0/1 for serdev_device_set_flow_control()
to false/true.

We can never assume the uart will deliver a complete packet to the BT
layer at once, the expected packet may be divided into several parts by
uart as uart doesn't know the received packet size, the received data
count may mismatch with the expected packet size, so here
is_valid_bootloader_signature() check may always return false.
Even we remove the count check in is_valid_bootloader_signature(), then
the first part of the data which includes the packet type can pass the
is_valid_bootloader_signature() check, but the remaining parts don't
have the packet type data still cannot pass the check, here return
directly will cause the data loss.
So need to remove the received bootloader signature check here, the
h4_recv_buf() can help us combine the different data received into one
packet. If any out-of-sync or incomplete bootloader signature is received,
it is safe to ignore and discard it, and process the next bootloader
signature.

This sets the default power save mode setting to disabled.
With this setting, this driver will behave like a normal h4 driver.
If user needs to use the power save feature, it can be enabled
using the following vendor command:
hcitool cmd 3f 23 02 00 00 (HCI_NXP_AUTO_SLEEP_MODE)
