2025-04-16xfrm: Add explicit dev to .xdo_dev_state_{add,delete,free}Cosmin Ratiu
Previously, device driver IPSec offload implementations would fall into two categories: 1. Those that used xso.dev to determine the offload device. 2. Those that used xso.real_dev to determine the offload device. The first category didn't work with bonding while the second did. In a non-bonding setup the two pointers are the same. This commit adds explicit pointers for the offload netdevice to .xdo_dev_state_add() / .xdo_dev_state_delete() / .xdo_dev_state_free() which eliminates the confusion and allows drivers from the first category to work with bonding. xso.real_dev now becomes a private pointer managed by the bonding driver. 2025-02-21xfrm: provide common xdo_dev_offload_ok callback implementationLeon Romanovsky
Almost all drivers except bond and nsim had same check if device can perform XFRM offload on that specific packet. The check was that packet doesn't have IPv4 options and IPv6 extensions. In NIC drivers, the IPv4 HELEN comparison was slightly different, but the intent was to check for the same conditions. So let's chose more strict variant as a common base. 2025-01-07xfrm: Support ESN context update to hardware for TXJianbo Liu
Previously xfrm_dev_state_advance_esn() was added for RX only. But it's possible that ESN context also need to be synced to hardware for TX, so call it for outbound in this patch. 2024-02-05xfrm: generalize xdo_dev_state_update_curlft to allow statistics updateLeon Romanovsky
In order to allow drivers to fill all statistics, change the name of xdo_dev_state_update_curlft to be xdo_dev_state_update_stats. Acked-by: Steffen Klassert <steffen.klassert@secunet.com> Signed-off-by: Leon Romanovsky <leonro@nvidia.com> Signed-off-by: Saeed Mahameed <saeedm@nvidia.com>
2023-08-21net/mlx5: Update dead links in Kconfig documentationRahul Rameshbabu
Point to NVIDIA documentation for device specific information now that the Mellanox documentation site is deprecated. Refer to kernel documentation sources for generic information not specific to mlx5 devices. 2023-01-26xfrm: extend add state callback to set failure reasonLeon Romanovsky
Almost all validation logic is in the drivers, but they are missing reliable way to convey failure reason to userspace applications. Let's use extack to return this information to users. Signed-off-by: Leon Romanovsky <leonro@nvidia.com> Signed-off-by: Jakub Kicinski <kuba@kernel.org>
