In bond priority testing, we set the primary interface to eth1 and add
eth0,1,2 to bond in serial. This is OK in normal times. But when in
debug kernel, the bridge port that eth0,1,2 connected would start
slowly (enter blocking, forwarding state), which caused the primary
interface down for a while after enslaving and active slave changed.
Here is a test log from Jakub's debug test[1].

Use slowwait instead of hard code sleep for bonding tests.
In function setup_prepare(), the client_create() will be called after
server_create(). So I think there is no need to sleep in server_create()
and remove it.
For lab_lib.sh, remove bonding module may affect other running bonding tests.
And some test env may buildin bond which can't be removed. The bonding
link should be removed by lag_reset_network() or netns delete.

The purpose of grat_arp is testing commit 9949e2efb54e ("bonding: fix
send_peer_notif overflow"). As the send_peer_notif was defined to u8,
to overflow it, we need to
send_peer_notif = num_peer_notif * peer_notif_delay = num_grat_arp * peer_notify_delay / miimon > 255
(kernel) (kernel parameter) (user parameter)
e.g. 30 (num_grat_arp) * 1000 (peer_notify_delay) / 100 (miimon) > 255.
Which need 30s to complete sending garp messages. To save the testing time,
the only way is reduce the miimon number. Something like
30 (num_grat_arp) * 100 (peer_notify_delay) / 10 (miimon) > 255.
To save more time, the 50 num_grat_arp testing could be removed.
The arp_validate_test also need to check the mii_status, which sleep
too long. Use slowwait to save some time.
For other connection checkings, make sure active slave changed first.

The purpose of the test_LAG_cleanup() function is to check that some
hardware addresses are removed from underlying devices after they have been
unenslaved. The test function simply checks that those addresses are not
present at the end. However, if the addresses were never added to begin
with due to some error in device setup, the test function currently passes.
This is a false positive since in that situation the test did not actually
exercise the intended functionality.
Add a check that the expected addresses are indeed present after device
setup. This makes the test function more robust.
I noticed this problem when running the team/dev_addr_lists.sh test on a
system without support for dummy and ipv6:
tools/testing/selftests/drivers/net/team# ./dev_addr_lists.sh
Error: Unknown device type.
Error: Unknown device type.

commit 25ae948b4478 ("selftests/net: add lib.sh") added net/lib.sh to
contain code shared by tests under net/ and net/forwarding/. However, this
caused issues with selftests from directories other than net/forwarding/,
in particular those under drivers/net/. Those issues were avoided in a
simple way by duplicating some content in commit 2114e83381d3 ("selftests:
forwarding: Avoid failures to source net/lib.sh").
In order to remove the duplicated content, restore the inclusion of
net/lib.sh from net/forwarding/lib.sh but with the following changes:
* net/lib.sh is imported through the net_forwarding_dir path
The original expression "source ../lib.sh" would look for lib.sh in the
directory above the script file's one, which did not work for tests under
drivers/net/.
* net/lib.sh is added to TEST_INCLUDES
Since net/forwarding/lib.sh now sources net/lib.sh, both of those files
must be exported along with tests which source net/forwarding/lib.sh.

Before adding a port to bond, it need to be set down first. In the
lacpdu test the author set the port down specifically. But commit
a4abfa627c38 ("net: rtnetlink: Enslave device before bringing it up")
changed the operation order, the kernel will set the port down _after_
adding to bond. So all the ports will be down at last and the test failed.
In fact, the veth interfaces are already inactive when added. This
means there's no need to set them down again before adding to the bond.
Let's just remove the link down operation.

Add new network selftests for the bonding device which exercise the ether
type changing call paths. They also test for the recent syzbot bug[1] which
causes a warning and results in wrong device flags (IFF_SLAVE missing).
The test adds three bond devices and a nlmon device, enslaves one of the
bond devices to the other and then uses the nlmon device for successful
and unsuccesful enslaves both of which change the bond ether type. Thus
we can test for both MASTER and SLAVE flags at the same time.
If the flags are properly restored we get:

Verify when a bond is configured with {up,down}delay and the link state
of slave members flaps if there are no remaining members up the bond
should immediately select a member to bring up. (from bonding.txt

When exporting and running a subset of selftests via kselftest, files from
parts of the source tree which were not exported are not available. A few
tests are trying to source such files. Address the problem by using
symlinks.
The problem can be reproduced by running:
make -C tools/testing/selftests gen_tar TARGETS="drivers/net/bonding"
[... extract archive ...]
./run_kselftest.sh
or:
make kselftest KBUILD_OUTPUT=/tmp/kselftests TARGETS="drivers/net/bonding"

It looks like this test has been accidentally dropped when resolving
conflicts in this Makefile.
Most probably because there were 3 different patches modifying this file
in parallel:
commit 152e8ec77640 ("selftests/bonding: add a test for bonding lladdr target")
commit bbb774d921e2 ("net: Add tests for bonding and team address list management")
commit 2ffd57327ff1 ("selftests: bonding: cause oops in bond_rr_gen_slave_id")
The first one was applied in 'net-next' while the two other ones were
recently applied in the 'net' tree.
But that's alright, easy to fix by re-adding the missing one!

This is a regression test for commit 592335a4164c ("bonding: accept
unsolicited NA message") and commit b7f14132bf58 ("bonding: use unspecified
address if no available link local address"). When the bond interface
up and no available link local address, unspecified address(::) is used to
send the NS message. The unsolicited NA message should also be accepted
for validation.

Test that the bonding and team drivers clean up an underlying device's
address lists (dev->uc, dev->mc) when the aggregated device is deleted.
Test addition and removal of the LACPDU multicast address on underlying
devices by the bonding driver.
v2:
* add lag_lib.sh to TEST_FILES
v3:
* extend bond_listen_lacpdu_multicast test to init_state up and down cases
* remove some superfluous shell syntax and 'set dev ... up' commands

This creates a test collection in drivers/net/bonding for bonding
specific kernel selftests.
The first test is a reproducer that provisions a bond and given the
specific order in how the ip-link(8) commands are issued the bond never
transmits an LACPDU frame on any of its slaves.
