2021-10-08libperf cpumap: Use binary search in perf_cpu_map__idx() as array are sortedRiccardo Mancini
Since 7074674e7338863e ("perf cpumap: Maintain cpumaps ordered and without dups") perf_cpu_map elements are sorted in ascending order. This patch improves perf_cpu_map__idx() by using a binary search. 2021-08-31libperf cpumap: Take into advantage it is sorted to optimize perf_cpu_map__max()Riccardo Mancini
From commit 7074674e7338863e ("perf cpumap: Maintain cpumaps ordered and without dups"), perf_cpu_map elements are sorted in ascending order. This patch improves the perf_cpu_map__max function by returning the last element. Committer notes: Do it as a ternary to keep it in just one return line, add a comment explaining it is sorted and what functions does it. 2020-05-05libperf: Add NULL pointer check for cpu_map iteration and NULL assignment ↵He Zhe
for all_cpus. A NULL pointer may be passed to perf_cpu_map__cpu and then cause a crash, such as the one commit cb71f7d43ece ("libperf: Setup initial evlist::all_cpus value") fix. 2020-01-06libperf: Move to tools/lib/perfJiri Olsa
Move libperf from its current location under tools/perf to a separate directory under tools/lib/. Also change various paths (mainly includes) to reflect the libperf move to a separate directory and add a new directory under MANIFEST.
