Commit 3e2f544dd8a33 ("net: get stats64 if device if driver is
configured") moved the callback to dev_get_tstats64() to net core, so,
unless the driver is doing some custom stats collection, it does not
need to set .ndo_get_stats64.
Since this driver is now relying in NETDEV_PCPU_STAT_TSTATS, then, it
doesn't need to set the dev_get_tstats64() generic .ndo_get_stats64
function pointer.

With commit 34d21de99cea9 ("net: Move {l,t,d}stats allocation to core and
convert veth & vrf"), stats allocation could be done on net core
instead of this driver.
With this new approach, the driver doesn't have to bother with error
handling (allocation failure checking, making sure free happens in the
right spot, etc). This is core responsibility now.
Remove the allocation in the bareudp driver and leverage the network
core allocation.

The structure gs_device_mode dm::mode is a __le32, use cpu_to_le32()
to assign GS_CAN_MODE_RESET.
As GS_CAN_MODE_RESET is 0x0, this is basically a no-op.

occurs after populating the metadata_map
Just simply reordering the functions mlx5e_ptp_metadata_map_put and
mlx5e_ptpsq_track_metadata in the mlx5e_txwqe_complete context is not good
enough since both the compiler and CPU are free to reorder these two
functions. If reordering does occur, the issue that was supposedly fixed by
7e3f3ba97e6c ("net/mlx5e: Track xmit submission to PTP WQ after populating
metadata map") will be seen. This will lead to NULL pointer dereferences in
mlx5e_ptpsq_mark_ts_cqes_undelivered in the NAPI polling context due to the
tracking list being populated before the metadata map.

The packet number attribute of the SA is incremented by the device rather
than the software stack when enabling hardware offload. Because the packet
number attribute is managed by the hardware, the software has no insight
into the value of the packet number attribute actually written by the
device.
Previously when MACsec offload was enabled, the hardware object for
handling the offload was destroyed when the SA was disabled. Re-enabling
the SA would lead to a new hardware object being instantiated. This new
hardware object would not have any recollection of the correct packet
number for the SA. Instead, destroy the flow steering rule when
deactivating the SA and recreate it upon reactivation, preserving the
original hardware object.

Downgrade the print from mlx5_core_warn() to mlx5_core_dbg(), as it
is just a statement of fact that firmware doesn't support ignore flow
level.
And change the wording to "firmware flow level support is missing", to
make it more accurate.

Functions which can't access MFRL (Management Firmware Reset Level)
register, have no use of fw_reset structures or events. Remove fw_reset
structures allocation and registration for fw reset events notifications
for these functions.
Having the devlink param enable_remote_dev_reset on functions that don't
have this capability is misleading as these functions are not allowed to
influence the reset flow. Hence, this patch removes this parameter for
such functions.
In addition, return not supported on devlink reload action fw_activate
for these functions.

Restore fw reporter diagnose to print the syndrome even if it is zero.
Following the cited commit, in this case (syndrome == 0) command returns no
output at all.
This fix restores command output in case syndrome is cleared:
$ devlink health diagnose pci/0000:82:00.0 reporter fw

The checking in the cited commit is not accurate. In the common case,
VF destination is internal, and uplink destination is external.
However, uplink destination with packet reformat is considered as
internal because firmware uses LB+hairpin to support it. Update the
checking so header rewrite rules with both internal and external
destinations are not allowed.

During VSI reconfiguration filters and VSI config which is set in
ice_vf_init_host_cfg() are lost. Recall the host configuration function
to restore them.
Without this config VF on which MSI-X amount was changed might had a
connection problems.

ice_qp_dis() currently does things in very mixed way. Tx is stopped
before disabling IRQ on related queue vector, then it takes care of
disabling Rx and finally NAPI is disabled.
Let us start with disabling IRQs in the first place followed by turning
off NAPI. Then it is safe to handle queues.
One subtle change on top of that is that even though ice_qp_ena() looks
more sane, clear ICE_CFG_BUSY as the last thing there.

Currently routines that are supposed to toggle state of ring pair do not
take care of associated interrupt with queue vector that these rings
belong to. This causes funky issues such as dead interface due to irq
misconfiguration, as per Pavel's report from Closes: tag.
Add a function responsible for disabling single IRQ in EIMC register and
call this as a very first thing when disabling ring pair during xsk_pool
setup. For enable let's reuse ixgbe_irq_enable_queues(). Besides this,
disable/enable NAPI as first/last thing when dealing with closing or
opening ring pair that xsk_pool is being configured on.

Forward skbs sent from one netdevsim port to its connected netdevsim
port using dev_forward_skb, in a spirit similar to veth.
Add a tx_dropped variable to struct netdevsim, tracking the number of
skbs that could not be forwarded using dev_forward_skb().
The xmit() function accessing the peer ptr is protected by an RCU read
critical section. The rcu_read_lock() is functionally redundant as since
v5.0 all softirqs are implicitly RCU read critical sections; but it is
useful for human readers.
If another CPU is concurrently in nsim_destroy(), then it will first set
the peer ptr to NULL. This does not affect any existing readers that
dereferenced a non-NULL peer. Then, in unregister_netdevice(), there is
a synchronize_rcu() before the netdev is actually unregistered and
freed. This ensures that any readers i.e. xmit() that got a non-NULL
peer will complete before the netdev is freed.
Any readers after the RCU_INIT_POINTER() but before synchronize_rcu()
will dereference NULL, making it safe.
The codepath to nsim_destroy() and nsim_create() takes both the newly
added nsim_dev_list_lock and rtnl_lock. This makes it safe with
concurrent calls to linking two netdevsims together.

Add two netdevsim bus attribute to sysfs:
/sys/bus/netdevsim/link_device
/sys/bus/netdevsim/unlink_device
Writing "A M B N" to link_device will link netdevsim M in netnsid A with
netdevsim N in netnsid B.
Writing "A M" to unlink_device will unlink netdevsim M in netnsid A from
its peer, if any.
rtnl_lock is taken to ensure nothing changes during the linking.

There is no advantage of freeing and re-allocating buffers through
suspend and resume. This waste cycles and makes suspend/resume time
longer. We also open ourselves to failed allocations in systems with
heavy memory fragmentation.

ASP 2.2 improves power savings during low power modes.
A new register was added to toggle to a slower clock during low
power modes.
EEE was broken for ASP 2.0/2.1. A HW workaround was added for
ASP 2.2 that requires toggling a chicken bit.

Currently QCA808x driver does not fill the possible_interfaces.
2.5G QCA808x support SGMII and 2500Base-X while 1G model only supports
SGMII, so fill the possible_interfaces accordingly.

There are 2 versions of QCA808x, one 2.5G capable and one 1G capable.
Currently, this matter only in the .get_features call however, it will
be required for filling supported interface modes so lets add a helper
that can be reused.

It is now possible to disable BQL, but that causes the cpsw driver to break:

Current driver has some asymmetry in the runtime PM calls. On lan78xx_open()
it will call usb_autopm_get() and unconditionally usb_autopm_put(). And
on lan78xx_stop() it will call only usb_autopm_put(). So far, it was
working only because this driver do not activate autosuspend by default,
so it was visible only by warning "Runtime PM usage count underflow!".
Since, with current driver, we can't use runtime PM with active link,
execute lan78xx_open()->usb_autopm_put() only in error case. Otherwise,
keep ref counting high as long as interface is open.

The existing mv88e6390_g2_scratch_gpio_set_smi() cannot be used on the
88E6393X as it requires certain P0_MODE, it also checks the CPU mode
as it impacts the bit setting value.
This is all irrelevant for Amethyst (MV88E6191X/6193X/6393X) as only
the default value of the SMI_PHY Config bit is set to CPU_MGD bootstrap
pin value but it can be changed without restrictions so that GPIO pins
9 and 10 are used as SMI pins.
So, introduce Amethyst specific function and call that if the Amethyst
family wants to setup the external PHY.

The i211 requires the same PTP timestamp adjustments as the i210,
according to its datasheet. To ensure consistent timestamping across
different platforms, this change extends the existing adjustments to
include the i211.
The adjustment result are tested and comparable for i210 and i211 based
systems.

Unlike the event configuration which can be modified by MHI, the
channel and controller configurations are expected to be const. And
since they are not modified locally, constify them to prevent runtime
modification.
No functional changes, compile tested only.

Currently buf_len field of ath11k_mhi_config_qca6390 is assigned
with 0, making MHI use a default size, 64KB, to allocate channel
buffers. This is likely to fail in some scenarios where system
memory is highly fragmented and memory compaction or reclaim is
not allowed.

Actually those buffers are used only by QMI target -> host communication.
And for WCN6855 and QCA6390, the largest packet size for that is less
than 6KB. So change buf_len field to 8KB, which results in order 1
allocation if page size is 4KB. In this way, we can at least save some
memory, and as well as decrease the possibility of allocation failure
in those scenarios.

Energy Efficient Ethernet should always be negotiated with the link
peer. Don't include SUPPORTED_Autoneg in the results of get_eee() for
supported, advertised or lp_advertised, since it is
assumed. Additionally, ethtool(1) ignores the set bit, and no other
driver sets this.

Convert the tables to make use of ETHTOOL link mode bits, rather than
the old u32 SUPPORTED speeds. Make use of the linkmode helps to set
bits and compare linkmodes. As a result, the _u32 members of keee are
no longer used, a step towards removing them.
