2019-05-21treewide: Add SPDX license identifier for more missed filesThomas Gleixner
Add SPDX license identifiers to all files which: - Have no license information of any form - Have MODULE_LICENCE("GPL*") inside which was used in the initial scan/conversion to ignore the file These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2018-10-13libertas: return errno from lbs_add_card()Lubomir Rintel
This makes the error handling somewhat cleaner -- lbs_add_card() does no logner throw away the errno and lets its callers propagate it. Signed-off-by: Lubomir Rintel <lkundrak@v3.sk> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>

2018-06-27libertas: use irqsave() in USB's complete callbackSebastian Andrzej Siewior
The USB completion callback does not disable interrupts while acquiring the lock. We want to remove the local_irq_disable() invocation from __usb_hcd_giveback_urb() and therefore it is required for the callback handler to disable the interrupts while acquiring the lock. The callback may be invoked either in IRQ or BH context depending on the USB host controller. Use the _irqsave() variant of the locking primitives. I am removing the BUG_ON(!in_interrupt()); check because it serves no purpose. Running the completion callback in BH context makes in_interrupt() still return true but the interrupts could be enabled. The important part is that ->driver_lock is acquired with disabled interrupts which is the case now. Cc: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org> Cc: "David S. 2017-10-27libertas: Convert timers to use timer_setup()Kees Cook
In preparation for unconditionally passing the struct timer_list pointer to all timer callbacks, switch to using the new timer_setup() and from_timer() to pass the timer pointer explicitly. 2017-08-10libertas: constify usb_device_idArvind Yadav
usb_device_id are not supposed to change at runtime. All functions working with usb_device_id provided by <linux/usb.h> work with const usb_device_id. So mark the non-const structs as const. Signed-off-by: Arvind Yadav <arvind.yadav.cs@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2017-05-24libertas: Remove function entry/exit debuggingKees Cook
In at least one place, the enter/exit debugging was not being correctly matched. Based on mailing list feedback, it was desired to drop all of these in favor of using ftrace instead. 2016-02-06libertas: check whether bus can do more than pollingAndreas Kemnade
If a sdio host does not support sdio irqs, polling is used instead. That has an impact on performance. Some functionality should not be enabled then. This add a variable in libertas_priv to indicate that. Signed-off-by: Andreas Kemnade <andreas@kemnade.info> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
