2019-05-30treewide: Replace GPLv2 boilerplate/reference with SPDX - rule 152Thomas Gleixner
Based on 1 normalized pattern(s): this program is free software you can redistribute it and or modify it under the terms of the gnu general public license as published by the free software foundation either version 2 of the license or at your option any later version extracted by the scancode license scanner the SPDX license identifier GPL-2.0-or-later has been chosen to replace the boilerplate/reference in 3029 file(s). 2018-11-06libertas: remove set but not used variable 'int_type'YueHaibing
Fixes gcc '-Wunused-but-set-variable' warning: drivers/net/wireless/marvell/libertas/if_spi.c: In function 'if_spi_h2c': drivers/net/wireless/marvell/libertas/if_spi.c:799:6: warning: variable 'int_type' set but not used [-Wunused-but-set-variable] It never used since introduction in commit d2b21f191753 ("libertas: if_spi, driver for libertas GSPI devices") Signed-off-by: YueHaibing <yuehaibing@huawei.com> Tested-by: Lubomir Rintel <lkundrak@v3.sk> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2018-10-13libertas: return errno from lbs_add_card()Lubomir Rintel
This makes the error handling somewhat cleaner -- lbs_add_card() does no logner throw away the errno and lets its callers propagate it. Signed-off-by: Lubomir Rintel <lkundrak@v3.sk> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2017-05-24libertas: Remove function entry/exit debuggingKees Cook
In at least one place, the enter/exit debugging was not being correctly matched. Based on mailing list feedback, it was desired to drop all of these in favor of using ftrace instead. 2017-04-26libertas: check return value of alloc_workqueuePan Bian
Function alloc_workqueue() will return a NULL pointer if there is no enough memory, and its return value should be validated before using. However, in function if_spi_probe(), its return value is not checked. This may result in a NULL dereference bug. This patch fixes the bug. 2016-06-16libertas: Remove create_workqueueBhaktipriya Shridhar
alloc_workqueue replaces deprecated create_workqueue(). In if_sdio.c, the workqueue card->workqueue has workitem &card->packet_worker, which is mapped to if_sdio_host_to_card_worker. The workitem is involved in sending packets to firmware. Forward progress under memory pressure is a requirement here. In if_spi.c, the workqueue card->workqueue has workitem &card->packet_worker, which is mapped to if_spi_host_to_card_worker. The workitem is involved in sending command packets from the host. Forward progress under memory pressure is a requirement here. Dedicated workqueues have been used in both cases since the workitems on the workqueues are involved in normal device operation with WQ_MEM_RECLAIM set to gurantee forward progress under memory pressure. Since there are only a fixed number of work items, explicit concurrency limit is unnecessary. flush_workqueue is unnecessary since destroy_workqueue() itself calls drain_workqueue() which flushes repeatedly till the workqueue becomes empty. Hence the calls to flush_workqueue() before destroy_workqueue() have been dropped.
