2018-03-28net/wireless/iwlwifi: fix iwlwifi_dev_ucode_error tracepointAlexei Starovoitov
fix iwlwifi_dev_ucode_error tracepoint to pass pointer to a table instead of all 17 arguments by value. dvm/main.c and mvm/utils.c have 'struct iwl_error_event_table' defined with very similar yet subtly different fields and offsets. tracepoint is still common and using definition of 'struct iwl_error_event_table' from dvm/commands.h while copying fields. Long term this tracepoint probably should be split into two. Signed-off-by: Alexei Starovoitov <ast@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Daniel Borkmann <daniel@iogearbox.net>
2017-12-20iwlwifi: add skb address to tx cmd in trace events dataMordechay Goodstein
This helps matching tx cmd with other trace events, like net_dev_xmit and net_dev_queue etc. Signed-off-by: Mordechay Goodstein <mordechay.goodstein@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
2017-06-23iwlwifi: fix TX tracing for non-linear SKBsJohannes Berg
When sending non-linear SKBs that should be included in the regular TX tracing completely (and not be pushed into the tx_data tracing), the (tracing) code didn't correctly take the fact that they were non-linear into account and added only the skb head portion. This probably never really triggered, since those frames we want traced fully are most likely linear anyway, but the code gets easier to understand and we lose an argument to the tracing function, so overall fixing this is better. 2016-03-09iwlwifi: mvm: adapt the firmware assert log to new firmwareEmmanuel Grumbach
Newer firmware versions put different data in the memory which is read by the driver upon firmware crash. Just change the variable names in the code and the name of the data in the log that we print withouth any functional change. On older firmware, there will be a mismatch between the names that are printed and the content itself, but that's harmless. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2016-02-27iwlwifi: support tracing wide commandsSara Sharon
Current iwlwifi_trace_dev_rx prints only the cmd without the group, which might be misleading. Change it to print the wide id. While at it add the DATA_PATH group and sub commands to the trace of the command names, sine it is missing due to patches submitted in parallel. 2015-12-20iwlwifi: change the Intel Wireless email addressEmmanuel Grumbach
ilw@linux.intel.com is not available anymore. linuxwifi@intel.com should be used instead. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
