2023-06-22iavf: remove some unused functions and pointless wrappersPrzemek Kitszel
Remove iavf_aq_get_rss_lut(), iavf_aq_get_rss_key(), iavf_vf_reset(). Remove some "OS specific memory free for shared code" wrappers ;) Signed-off-by: Przemek Kitszel <przemyslaw.kitszel@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Nguyen <anthony.l.nguyen@intel.com>
2023-03-16iavf: fix non-tunneled IPv6 UDP packet type and hashingAlexander Lobakin
Currently, IAVF's decode_rx_desc_ptype() correctly reports payload type of L4 for IPv4 UDP packets and IPv{4,6} TCP, but only L3 for IPv6 UDP. Originally, i40e, ice and iavf were affected. Commit 73df8c9e3e3d ("i40e: Correct UDP packet header for non_tunnel-ipv6") fixed that in i40e, then commit 638a0c8c8861 ("ice: fix incorrect payload indicator on PTYPE") fixed that for ice. IPv6 UDP is L4 obviously. Fix it and make iavf report correct L4 hash type for such packets, so that the stack won't calculate it on CPU when needs it. 2023-01-25virtchnl: i40e/iavf: rename iwarp to rdmaJesse Brandeburg
Since the latest Intel hardware does both IWARP and ROCE, rename the term IWARP in the virtchnl header to be RDMA. Do this for both upper and lower case instances. Many of the non-virtchnl.h changes were done with regular expression replacements using perl like: perl -p -i -e 's/_IWARP/_RDMA/' <files> perl -p -i -e 's/_iwarp/_rdma/' <files> and I had to pick up a few instances manually. The virtchnl.h header has some comments and clarity added around when to use certain defines. note: had to fix a checkpatch warning for a long line by wrapping one of the lines I changed. 2021-06-18iavf: clean up packet type lookup tableJesse Brandeburg
Remove the unused ptype struct value, which makes table init easier for the zero entries, and use ranged initializer to remove a bunch of code (works with gcc and clang). There is no significant functional change. Signed-off-by: Jesse Brandeburg <jesse.brandeburg@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Nguyen <anthony.l.nguyen@intel.com>
2019-05-31iavf: update comments and file checks to match iavfAlice Michael
Some small things were missed with recent name changes from i40e to iavf. Having a separate patch allows to correct the small misses in one place. 2019-05-31iavf: rename iavf_status structure flagsAlice Michael

2019-05-31iavf: replace i40e variables with iavfAlice Michael
Update the old variables and flags marked as i40e to match the iavf name of the driver. Signed-off-by: Alice Michael <alice.michael@intel.com> Tested-by: Andrew Bowers <andrewx.bowers@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
2019-05-31iavf: change iavf_status_code to iavf_statusSergey Nemov
Instead of typedefing the enum iavf_status_code with iavf_status, just shorten the enum itself and get rid of typedef. Signed-off-by: Sergey Nemov <sergey.nemov@intel.com> Tested-by: Andrew Bowers <andrewx.bowers@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
2019-05-31iavf: Rename i40e_adminq* files to iavf_adminq*Alice Michael
With the rename of the iavf driver, there were some files that were missed in renaming. Update these to be iavf as well. Signed-off-by: Alice Michael <alice.michael@intel.com> Tested-by: Andrew Bowers <andrewx.bowers@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
2018-09-18iavf: finish renaming files to iavfJesse Brandeburg
This finishes the process of renaming the files that make sense to rename (skipping adminq related files that talk to i40e), and fixes up the build and the #includes so that everything builds nicely.
