2005-10-04e1000: Fixes for packet split related issuesMallikarjuna R Chilakala
Fixes for packet split related issues * On platforms where PAGE_SIZE > 4K, driver will use only required number of pages compared to always using 3 pages. * Packet split won't be used if the PAGE_SIZE is > 16K * Adds a statistics counter to splits. * Setting the non Null ptr to zero sized buffers to solve packet split receive descriptor error * When the no of pages needed is calculated, the header buffer is not included for a given MTU. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
