2017-03-23mmc: sdhci-pci: Do not disable interrupts in sdhci_intel_set_powerAdrian Hunter
Disabling interrupts for even a millisecond can cause problems for some devices. That can happen when Intel host controllers wait for the present state to propagate. The spin lock is not necessary here. Anything that is racing with changes to the I/O state is already broken. The mmc core already provides synchronization via "claiming" the host. Although the spin lock probably should be removed from the code paths that lead to this point, such a patch would touch too much code to be suitable for stable trees. Consequently, for this patch, just drop the spin lock while waiting. 2016-12-05mmc: sdhci-pci: Use ACPI to get max frequency for Intel NI byt sdioZach Brown
On NI 9037 boards the max SDIO frequency is limited by trace lengths and other layout choices. The max SDIO frequency is stored in an ACPI table. The driver reads the ACPI entry MXFQ during sdio_probe_slot and sets the f_max field of the host. With commit f35bbf61ab77 ("gpio / ACPI: Return -EPROBE_DEFER if the gpiochip was not found"), a gpio descriptor request can now be deferred if the providing gpio host controller driver hasn't been loaded yet. 2016-07-25mmc: sdhci-pci: Do not runtime suspend at the end of sdhci_pci_probe()Adrian Hunter

2016-03-18mmc: sdhci-pci: Do not set DMA mask in enable_dma()Alexandre Courbot
DMA mask will already be set by sdhci_set_dma_mask(), which is equivalent to the removed code since pci_set_dma_mask() expands to its DMA-API counterpart. 2016-02-11mmc: sdhci-pci: Fix card detect race for Intel BXT/APLAdrian Hunter
Intel BXT/APL use a card detect GPIO however the host controller will not enable bus power unless it's card detect also reflects the presence of a card. Unfortunately those 2 things race which can result in commands not starting, after which the controller does nothing and there is a 10 second wait for the driver's 10-second timer to timeout. That is fixed by having the driver look also at the present state register to determine if the card is present. Consequently, provide a 'get_cd' mmc host operation for BXT/APL that does that. 2015-12-22mmc: sdhci-pci: Do not default to 33 Ohm driver strength for Intel SPTAdrian Hunter
In some cases, the stronger 33 Ohm driver strength must not be used so it is not a suitable default. Change it to the standard default 50 Ohm value.
