In commit cfa49ff0558a ("media: i2c: imx335: Support 2592x1940 10-bit
mode") the IMX335 driver was extended to support multiple output
bitdepth modes.
This incorrectly extended the frame size enumeration to check against
the supported mbus_codes array instead of the supported mode/frame
array. This has the unwanted side effect of reporting the currently
supported frame size 2592x1944 three times.
Fix the check accordingly to report a frame size for each supported
size, which is presently only a single entry.

The PLL calculator does a search of the PLL configuration space for all
valid OP pre-PLL clock dividers. The maximum did not take into account the
CCS PLL flag CCS_PLL_FLAG_EXT_IP_PLL_DIVIDER in which case also odd PLL
dividers (other than 1) are valid. Do that now.

The ccs_pll_calculate() function does a search over possible PLL
configurations to find the "best" one. If the sensor does not support odd
pre-PLL divisors and the minimum value (with constraints) isn't 1, other
odd values could be errorneously searched (and selected) for the pre-PLL
divisor. Fix this.

When v4l2_subdev_init_finalize() fails no changes have been made to
the runtime-pm device state yet, so the probe_error_media_entity_cleanup
rollback path should not touch the runtime-pm device state.
Instead this should be done from the probe_error_v4l2_subdev_cleanup
rollback path. Note the pm_runtime_xxx() calls are put above
the v4l2_subdev_cleanup() call to have the reverse call order of probe().

The datasheet for this sensor documents the minimum vblanking as being
32 lines. It does fix some problems with occasional black lines at the
bottom of images (tested on Raspberry Pi).

When calculating D-PHY registers, using data rates that are not multiples
of 16 can lead to precision loss in division operations. This can result in
register values that produce timing violations against the MIPI standard.
An example:
cfg->hs_clk_rate = 294MHz
hf_clk = 18
If the desired value in cfg->init is 100us, which is the minimum allowed
value, then the LINEINITCNT register is calculated as 1799. But since the
actual clock is 18.375MHz instead of 18MHz, this setting results in a time
that is shorter than 100us and thus violates the standard. The correct
value for LINEINITCNT would be 1837.
Improve the precision of calculations by using Hz instead of MHz as unit.

The register that enables selecting a test-pattern to be outputted in
free-run mode (FREE_RUN_PAT_SEL[2:0]) is only available on adv7280 based
devices, not the adv7180 based ones.
Add a flag to mark devices that are capable of generating test-patterns,
and those that are not. And only register the control on supported
devices.

When the vblank v4l2 control is set, it does not get written to the
hardware unless exposure is also changed. Change the behavior such that
the vblank is written immediately when the control is set, as setting
the vblank without changing the exposure is a valid use case (such as
for changing the frame rate).

The driver might skip the ov08x40_identify_module() on probe() based on
the acpi_dev_state_d0() check done in probe().
If the ov08x40_identify_module() call is skipped on probe() it should
be done on the first stream start. Add the missing call.
Note ov08x40_identify_module() will only do something on its first call,
subsequent calls are no-ops.

The driver defines IMX214_DEFAULT_LINK_FREQ 480000000, and then
IMX214_DEFAULT_PIXEL_RATE ((IMX214_DEFAULT_LINK_FREQ * 8LL) / 10),
which works out as 384MPix/s. (The 8 is 4 lanes and DDR.)
Parsing the PLL registers with the defined 24MHz input. We're in single
PLL mode, so MIPI frequency is directly linked to pixel rate. VTCK ends
up being 1200MHz, and VTPXCK and OPPXCK both are 120MHz. Section 5.3
"Frame rate calculation formula" says "Pixel rate
[pixels/s] = VTPXCK [MHz] * 4", so 120 * 4 = 480MPix/s, which basically
agrees with my number above.
3.1.4. MIPI global timing setting says "Output bitrate = OPPXCK * reg
0x113[7:0]", so 120MHz * 10, or 1200Mbit/s. That would be a link
frequency of 600MHz due to DDR.
That also matches to 480MPix/s * 10bpp / 4 lanes / 2 for DDR.
Keep the previous link frequency for backward compatibility.

The imx214 camera is capable of either two-lane or four-lane operation.
Currently only the four-lane mode is supported, as proper pixel rates
and link frequences for the two-lane mode are unknown.

Move all the format configuration to the subdevice state and simplify
the format handling, locking and initialization.

There were multiple issues in the driver's probe function related to
error handling:
- Device's PM runtime status wasn't reverted to suspended on some errors
in probe.
- Runtime PM was left enabled for the device on some probe errors.
- Device was left powered on if a probe failure happened or when it
was removed when it was powered on.
- An extra pm_runtime_set_suspended() was issued in driver's remove
function when the device was suspended.
Fix these bugs.

registering the async sub-device. This is needed to avoid the case where
the device is runtime PM resumed while runtime PM has not been enabled
yet.

use 4 lanes with a link frequency of 363MHz, and amended the advertised
pixel rate to 280.8MPix/s.
However it didn't change any of the PLL settings, so actually it would
have been running overclocked in the MIPI block, and with the frame
rate and exposure calculations being wrong as the pixel rate was
unchanged.
The pixel rate and link frequency advertised were taken from the "Clock
Setting Example" section of the datasheet. However those are based on an
external clock of 12MHz, and are unachievable with a clock of 24MHz - it
seems PREPLLCLK_VT_DIV and PREPLLCK_OP_DIV can ONLY be set via the
automatic configuration documented in "9-1-2 EXCK_FREQ setting depend on
INCK frequency", not by writing the registers.
The closest we can get with a 24MHz clock is 281.6MPix/s and 364MHz.
Dropping all support for the 363MHz link frequency would cause problems
for existing users, so allow it, but log a warning that the requested
value is being changed to the supported one.

Commit 7d968b5badfc ("media: hi556: Return -EPROBE_DEFER if no endpoint is
found") moved the v4l2_fwnode_endpoint_alloc_parse() call in
hi556_check_hwcfg() up, but it did not make the error-exit paths between
the old and new call-site use "goto check_hwcfg_error;" to free the bus_cfg
on errors.
Add the missing "goto check_hwcfg_error;" statements to fix a memleak on
early error-exits from hi556_check_hwcfg().

The mask to select the test-pattern in register ADV748X_SDP_FRP is
incorrect, it's the lower 3 bits which controls the pattern. The
GENMASK() macro is used incorrectly and the generated mask is 0x0e
instead of 0x07.
The result is that not all test patterns are selectable, and that in
some cases the wrong test pattern is activated. Fix this by correcting
the GENMASK().

The driver uses a static CSI-2 virtual channel mapping where all virtual
channels from an RX port are mapped to a virtual channel number matching
the RX port number.
The UB960 and UB9702 have different registers for the purpose, and the
UB9702 version is not correct. Each of the VC_ID_MAP registers do not
contain a single mapping, as the driver currently thinks, but two.
This can cause received VCs other than 0 to be mapped in a wrong way.
Fix this by writing both mappings to each register.

The ub913 and ub953 drivers call fwnode_handle_put(priv->sd.fwnode) as
part of their remove process, and if the driver is removed multiple
times, eventually leads to put "overflow", possibly causing memory
corruption or crash.
The fwnode_handle_put() is a leftover from commit 905f88ccebb1 ("media:
i2c: ds90ub9x3: Fix sub-device matching"), which changed the code
related to the sd.fwnode, but missed removing these fwnode_handle_put()
calls.

The length field of the CCS static data blocks was mishandled, leading to
wrong interpretation of the length header for blocks that are 16 kiB in
size. Such large blocks are very, very rare and so this wasn't found
earlier.
As the length is used as part of input validation, the issue has no
security implications.

Add a 2-5ms delay when coming out of standby and before reading the
sensor info register durning probe, as instructed by the datasheet. This
standby delay is already present when the sensor starts streaming.
During a cold-boot, reading the IMX296_SENSOR_INFO register would often
return a value of 0x0000, if this delay is not present before.

The datasheet lists that "Maximum exposure time is frame
length -25 row periods, where frame length is set by
registers {0x380E, 0x380F}".
However this driver had OV9282_EXPOSURE_OFFSET set to 12
which allowed that restriction to be violated, and would
result in very under-exposed images.
Correct the offset.

It is necessary to account for I2C quirks in the burst mode path of this
driver. Not all I2C controllers can accept arbitrarily long writes and this
is represented in the quirks field of the adapter structure.
Prior to this patch the following error message is seen on a Qualcomm
X1E80100 CRD.
