2021-03-26crypto: qat - ADF_STATUS_PF_RUNNING should be set after adf_dev_initTong Zhang
ADF_STATUS_PF_RUNNING is (only) used and checked by adf_vf2pf_shutdown() before calling adf_iov_putmsg()->mutex_lock(vf2pf_lock), however the vf2pf_lock is initialized in adf_dev_init(), which can fail and when it fail, the vf2pf_lock is either not initialized or destroyed, a subsequent use of vf2pf_lock will cause issue. To fix this issue, only set this flag if adf_dev_init() returns 0. 2020-10-30crypto: qat - num_rings_per_bank is device dependentAhsan Atta
This change is to allow support for QAT devices that may not have 16 rings per bank. The rings structure in bank is allocated dynamically based on the number of banks supported by a device. Note that in the error path in adf_init_bank(), ring->inflights is set to NULL after the free to silence a false positive double free reported by clang scan-build. Enable acceleration engines (AEs) and accelerators based on soft straps and fuses. When looping with a number of AEs or accelerators, ignore the ones that are disabled. 2019-02-01crypto: prefix header search paths with $(srctree)/Masahiro Yamada
Currently, the Kbuild core manipulates header search paths in a crazy way [1]. To fix this mess, I want all Makefiles to add explicit $(srctree)/ to the search paths in the srctree. Some Makefiles are already written in that way, but not all. The goal of this work is to make the notation consistent, and finally get rid of the gross hacks. Having whitespaces after -I does not matter since commit 48f6e3cf5bc6 ("kbuild: do not drop -I without parameter"). When calling debugfs functions, there is no need to ever check the return value. The function can work or not, but the code logic should never do something different based on this. There are two problems here. First, the 32-bit pointer address may not be 64-bit aligned. Secondly, it is accessing an extra 4 bytes. This is fixed by changing the bar_mask type to unsigned long.
