When checking a memory buffer to be consecutive in machine memory,
the alignment needs to be checked, too. Failing to do so might result
in DMA memory not being aligned according to its requested size,
leading to error messages like:

Use the `DEFINE_RAW_FLEX()` helper for an on-stack definition of
a flexible structure where the size of the flexible-array member
is known at compile-time, and refactor the rest of the code,
accordingly.
So, with this, fix the following warning:

Use ERR_CAST() as it is designed for casting an error pointer to
another type.
This macro utilizes the __force and __must_check modifiers, which instruct
the compiler to verify for errors at the locations where it is employed.

Uninstrument arch/x86/platform/pvh/enlighten.c: KASAN has not been setup
_this_ early in the boot process.
Steps to reproduce:
make allnoconfig
make sure CONFIG_AMD_MEM_ENCRYPT is disabled
AMD_MEM_ENCRYPT independently uninstruments lib/string.o
so PVH boot code calls into uninstrumented memset() and
memcmp() which can make the bug disappear depending on
the compiler.

enable CONFIG_KASAN
enable serial console
this is fun exercise if you never done it from nothing :^)

In order to minimize required special handling for running as Xen PV
dom0, the memory layout is modified to match that of the host. This
requires to have only RAM at the locations where Xen allocated memory
is living. Unfortunately there seem to be some machines, where ACPI
NVS is located at 64 MB, resulting in a conflict with the loaded
kernel or the initial page tables built by Xen.
Avoid this conflict by swapping the ACPI NVS area in the memory map
with unused RAM. This is possible via modification of the dom0 P2M map.
Accesses to the ACPI NVS area are done either for saving and restoring
it across suspend operations (this will work the same way as before),
or by ACPI code when NVS memory is referenced from other ACPI tables.
The latter case is handled by a Xen specific indirection of
acpi_os_ioremap().
While the E820 map can (and should) be modified right away, the P2M
map can be updated only after memory allocation is working, as the P2M
map might need to be extended.

When running as a Xen PV dom0 the system needs to map ACPI data of the
host using host physical addresses, while those addresses can conflict
with the guest physical addresses of the loaded linux kernel. The same
problem might apply in case a PV guest is configured to use the host
memory map.
This conflict can be solved by mapping the ACPI data to a different
guest physical address, but mapping the data via acpi_os_ioremap()
must still be possible using the host physical address, as this
address might be generated by AML when referencing some of the ACPI
data.
When configured to support running as a Xen PV domain, have an
implementation of acpi_os_ioremap() being aware of the possibility to
need above mentioned translation of a host physical address to the
guest physical address.
This modification requires to #include linux/acpi.h in some sources
which need to include asm/acpi.h directly.

When running as a Xen PV dom0 it can happen that the kernel is being
loaded to a guest physical address conflicting with the host memory
map.
In order to be able to resolve this conflict, add the capability to
remap non-RAM areas to different guest PFNs. A function to use this
remapping information for other purposes than doing the remap will be
added when needed.
As the number of conflicts should be rather low (currently only
machines with max. 1 conflict are known), save the remap data in a
small statically allocated array.

Instead of having max_pfn as a local variable of xen_memory_setup(),
make it a static variable in setup.c instead. This avoids having to
pass it to subfunctions, which will be needed in more cases in future.
Rename it to ini_nr_pages, as the value denotes the currently usable
number of memory pages as passed from the hypervisor at boot time.

xen_chk_is_e820_usable() helper further up in order to prepare
resolving some of the possible conflicts by doing some e820 map
modifications, which must happen before evaluating the RAM layout.

When booting as a Xen PV dom0 the memory layout of the dom0 is
modified to match that of the host, as this requires less changes in
the kernel for supporting Xen.
There are some cases, though, which are problematic, as it is the Xen
hypervisor selecting the kernel's load address plus some other data,
which might conflict with the host's memory map.
These conflicts are detected at boot time and result in a boot error.
In order to support handling at least some of these conflicts in
future, introduce a generic helper function which will later gain the
ability to adapt the memory layout when possible.
Add the missing check for the xen_start_info area.
Note that possible p2m map and initrd memory conflicts are handled
already by copying the data to memory areas not conflicting with the
memory map. The initial stack allocated by Xen doesn't need to be
checked, as early boot code is switching to the statically allocated
initial kernel stack. Initial page tables and the kernel itself will
be handled later.

When running as a Xen PV dom0 the kernel is loaded by the hypervisor
using a different memory map than that of the host. In order to
minimize the required changes in the kernel, the kernel adapts its
memory map to that of the host. In order to do that it is checking
for conflicts of its load address with the host memory map.
Unfortunately the tested memory range does not include the .brk
area, which might result in crashes or memory corruption when this
area does conflict with the memory map of the host.
Fix the test by using the _end label instead of __bss_stop.

"A pile of Qualcomm clk driver fixes with two main themes: the alpha
PLL driver and shared RCGs, and one fix for the Starfive JH7110 SoC.
- The Alpha PLL clk_ops had multiple problems around setting rates.
There are a handful of patches here that fix masks and skip
enabling the clk from set_rate() when the PLL is disabled. The PLLs
are crucial to operation of the system as almost all frequencies in
the system are derived from them.
- Parking shared RCGs at a slow always on clk at registration time
breaks stuff.
USB host mode can't handle such a slow frequency and the serial
console gets all garbled when the UART clk is handed over to the
kernel. There's a few patches that don't use the shared clk_ops for
the UART clks and another one to skip parking the USB clk at
registration time.
- The Starfive PLL driver used for the CPU was busted causing cpufreq
to fail because the clk didn't change to a safe parent during
set_rate().
The fix is to register a notifier and switch to a safe parent so
the PLL can change rate in a glitch free manner"

clang warns on this because it has an unannotated fall-through between
cases:
arch/x86/kvm/x86.c:4819:2: error: unannotated fall-through between switch labels [-Werror,-Wimplicit-fallthrough]
and while we could annotate it as a fallthrough, the proper fix is to
just add the break for this case, instead of falling through to the
default case and the break there.
gcc also has that warning, but it looks like gcc only warns for the
cases where they fall through to "real code", rather than to just a
break. Odd.

get_stashed_dentry() tries to optimistically retrieve a stashed dentry
from a provided location. It needs to ensure to hold rcu lock before it
dereference the stashed location to prevent UAF issues. Use
rcu_dereference() instead of READ_ONCE() it's effectively equivalent
with some lockdep bells and whistles and it communicates clearly that
this expects rcu protection.

ASoC: Fixes for v6.11
A larger set of fixes than I'd like at this point, but mainly due to
people working on fixing module autoloading by adding missing exports of
ID tables rather than anything particularly concerning. There are some
other runtime fixes and quirks, and a tweak to the ABI definition for
SOF which ensures that a struct layout doesn't vary depending on the
architecture of the host.

Pull tracing fixes from Steven Rostedt:
- Fix adding a new fgraph callback after function graph tracing has
already started.
If the new caller does not initialize its hash before registering the
fgraph_ops, it can cause a NULL pointer dereference. Fix this by
adding a new parameter to ftrace_graph_enable_direct() passing in the
newly added gops directly and not rely on using the fgraph_array[],
as entries in the fgraph_array[] must be initialized.
Assign the new gops to the fgraph_array[] after it goes through
ftrace_startup_subops() as that will properly initialize the
gops->ops and initialize its hashes.
- Fix a memory leak in fgraph storage memory test.
If the "multiple fgraph storage on a function" boot up selftest fails
in the registering of the function graph tracer, it will not free the
memory it allocated for the filter. Break the loop up into two where
it allocates the filters first and then registers the functions where
any errors will do the appropriate clean ups.
- Only clear the timerlat timers if it has an associated kthread.
In the rtla tool that uses timerlat, if it was killed just as it was
shutting down, the signals can free the kthread and the timer. But
the closing of the timerlat files could cause the hrtimer_cancel() to
be called on the already freed timer. As the kthread variable is is
set to NULL when the kthreads are stopped and the timers are freed it
can be used to know not to call hrtimer_cancel() on the timer if the
kthread variable is NULL.
- Use a cpumask to keep track of osnoise/timerlat kthreads
The timerlat tracer can use user space threads for its analysis. With
the killing of the rtla tool, the kernel can get confused between if
it is using a user space thread to analyze or one of its own kernel
threads. When this confusion happens, kthread_stop() can be called on
a user space thread and bad things happen. As the kernel threads are
per-cpu, a bitmask can be used to know when a kernel thread is used
or when a user space thread is used.
- Add missing interface_lock to osnoise/timerlat stop_kthread()
The stop_kthread() function in osnoise/timerlat clears the osnoise
kthread variable, and if it was a user space thread does a put_task
on it. But this can race with the closing of the timerlat files that
also does a put_task on the kthread, and if the race happens the task
will have put_task called on it twice and oops.
- Add cond_resched() to the tracing_iter_reset() loop.
The latency tracers keep writing to the ring buffer without resetting
when it issues a new "start" event (like interrupts being disabled).
When reading the buffer with an iterator, the tracing_iter_reset()
sets its pointer to that start event by walking through all the
events in the buffer until it gets to the time stamp of the start
event. In the case of a very large buffer, the loop that looks for
the start event has been reported taking a very long time with a non
preempt kernel that it can trigger a soft lock up warning. Add a
cond_resched() into that loop to make sure that doesn't happen.
- Use list_del_rcu() for eventfs ei->list variable
It was reported that running loops of creating and deleting kprobe
events could cause a crash due to the eventfs list iteration hitting
a LIST_POISON variable. This is because the list is protected by SRCU
but when an item is deleted from the list, it was using list_del()
which poisons the "next" pointer. This is what list_del_rcu() was to
prevent.

syzbot found an use-after-free Read in ila_nf_input [1]
Issue here is that ila_xlat_exit_net() frees the rhashtable,
then call nf_unregister_net_hooks().
It should be done in the reverse way, with a synchronize_rcu().
This is a good match for a pre_exit() method.
